Raised on nature documentaries and stories of expeditions, Singapore; a country smaller than the city of Berlin, was always going to be too small for the kid who desired adventure

Though, advenure always seemed like a fairytale I'd never get to live - so imagine my surprise, standing here having explored over 60 countries, slept on all the continents, and sailed across all the oceans

Younger me would have never believed it; it wasn't long ago that I wanted to give into despair and ruin. But in my darkest moments, light always shined in the form of a mountain range, a flock of cranes, or an endless expanse of sand dunes. Were it not for nature's call, my story would have surely reached an early conclusion. Thankfully, we live in an astounding world. There's too much of it I have left to see, and so much more that needs protection

Photos for the Planet; Adventures for the Soul

Through my images, I aim to share the endless stories Earth has to tell. The grand and the quiet, the fierce and the fleeting; attempting to describe even a fraction of its allure to all.You know - it rains diamonds on Neptune, volcanoes erupt water on Europa, and asteroids across space are full of gold and titanium. Earth, with life as we know it, is truly and uniquely; one-of-a-kind. As such, a portion of every print sold here gives back directly to the wild places and creatures that made the image possible

With my work, I hope to inspire others to care and to take action to restore, protect, and preserve these fragile ecosystems and threatened wildlife for future generations to enjoy
